Lauren Atkinson

I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychiatry and the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN), Oxford. My work aims to investigate the cognitive and neural correlates of mood instability, and evaluate the potential of novel pharmacological treatments to stabilise mood. Most recently, I am actively involved in collaborative efforts to understand the mechanisms underlying the impact of COVID-19 on neurological and psychiatric sequelae. I have a BSc in Psychology (University of Birmingham, UK), a MSc in Psychiatric Research (King’s College London, UK), and a DPhil in Psychiatry (University of Oxford, UK).
