Dr Sarah-Naomi James

Senior Research Fellow

University College London

I am a senior research fellow based at the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing at University College London. After a BSc in Neuroscience at the University of Bristol, I undertook an MSc and PhD in the MRC Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. I am working as an epidemiologist on the MRC National Survey of Health and Development Neuroimaging sub-study (Insight 46), in collaboration with colleagues at the Dementia Research Centre. My research interests are in life course patterns of cognitive ageing and dementia pathology. I have a special interest in women's health and integrating biological and social constructs.
