Barbora Vidimova

PhD Student

University of Lausanne

I am a first-year PhD student at the University of Lausanne. Under the supervision of Professor Claudia Bagni, I investigate the underlying mechanisms of early sensory deficits associated with autism. I focus on dendritic spines and work on the development of software allowing to study these structures in living animal models of autism spectrum disorder. Prior to my doctorate studies, I completed a BSc in Neuroscience with Psychology at the University of Aberdeen, and an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience at King’s College London.
