Arielle Crestol
PhD Candidate
University of Oslo
I completed my B.Sc at Concordia University in honours psychology, specializing in behavioural neuroscience. I then pursued my M.Sc. in neuroscience at McGill University where I focused on understanding the interactive effects of aging and menopausal status on episodic memory and associated brain function. During my M.Sc., I learned about the extensive impact that sex hormones have on the brain and developed a passion for studying sex differences, neuroendocrinology, and women’s brain health. For my PhD at the University of Oslo, I will be linking sex hormone actions with mental disorders in the human brain across the lifespan.
