Anais Llorens

Assistant Project Scientist

University of California Berkeley

I am an Assistant Project Scientist in the Knight Lab at the Helen Wills Neuroscience institute, at the University of California, Berkeley. I obtained a PhD in cognitive neuroscience at Aix-Marseille University in 2014 and, after a brief passage in Brisbane (Australia) as a visiting scholar, I did a first postdoc at Oslo University before joining the Knight Lab at University of California, Berkeley in 2019. My research interest focuses on the cognitive models and brain mechanisms underlying working memory, language, and communication using behavioral and electrophysiological (EEG and intraEEG) experiments conducted with healthy and pathologic populations. I am also actively engaged in promoting equity and diversity in STEM.
